The 31st Saló de la Infància i la Joventut opened its doors in Pas de la Casa on Friday afternoon, drawing strong crowds from the start with activities filling up quickly at the Centre Esportiu. Organisers from the Encamp council reported high satisfaction, noting the venue was packed right after opening.

The event follows its successful run in Encamp from December 27 to 30, which drew around 3,000 visitors. In Pas de la Casa, it will continue until January 4, aiming for 250-300 daily attendees—figures in line with previous editions there.

Nino Marot, Encamp's councillor for Finance, Sports and Economic Reactivation, described the Encamp leg as "very positive" and highlighted the Pas de la Casa stop's appeal to local youth and repeat tourists. "It's an event much anticipated by young people and also by tourists, who come and return every year," he said. Marot added that the programme serves as an attractive après-ski option for families seeking fun after a day on the slopes.

Activities cater to children and teens with options including 7D cinema, creative workshops, interactive spaces and sports areas. Council members, including Sabrina Grégoire Torres, expressed delight at the turnout, stating they were "very pleased to see all this public attendance".

The Saló has established itself as a standout family attraction during Andorra's Christmas season.
