Andorran writer Laia Corma, aged 25, launched her latest poetry collection, *Flors d’amor*, at the Fnac Forum on Wednesday evening.

The event, held at 7pm, introduced the book as a journey through the stages of a romantic relationship, mirrored by the cycle of seasons. Divided into four sections—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—the poems trace the arc from initial excitement and intense passion to growing doubts, emotional cooling, and eventual breakup.

Andorra’s mountains and landscapes play a central role, serving as both backdrop and metaphor for the characters’ shifting emotions. This is Corma’s second poetry collection and her first published in Catalan.

The author, whose full name is Laia Cordoba Martín, explained her creative process during the presentation. She described feeling compelled to capture the significance of love for her country and its inspiring scenery. “When I find a place that moves me, I stop to take it in, and that’s when the words and feelings start to emerge,” she said.

The collection builds on Corma’s emerging voice in Andorran literature, blending personal sentiment with the principality’s natural environment. Copies are now available through Fnac and other outlets.
