The Social Democratic Party (PS) plans to submit an amendment to decriminalise abortion when the government introduces its proposed overhaul of the Penal Code for parliamentary debate.
Party representatives outlined the move during an appearance on public broadcaster RTVA, describing it as one of the parliamentary group's main priorities for 2026. They cited the government's failure to honour its previous commitment on the issue as a key factor.
PS leaders also highlighted other objectives for the coming year, including unfreezing rental prices and approving the national budget.
Meanwhile, the Democrats intend to advance the property registry at the General Council and finalise pension reforms. Andorra Endavant aims to draft a law on political responsibilities, which would allow the government to be dissolved and elections called if a party fails to deliver on its electoral programme.
For its part, Concòrdia plans to propose legislation regulating national natural parks.
