Oriol Olm and Max Palmitjavila claimed overall victory in the Skimo 10, the flagship race of the ninth Dynafit Andorra Skimo, with a combined time of 3:47:54 across two stages despite Olm suffering a broken ski binding on the final day.
The Andorran national team members from the Federació Andorrana de Muntanyisme (FAM) dominated Saturday's opening 20km leg from Grau Roig, which featured 1,500m of positive elevation gain. They finished in 1:48:54, ahead of Albert Ballús and Martí Lázaro by just over 30 seconds, and Louis Doumas and Lucas Mouret by nearly a minute. Palmitjavila described the conditions as "incredible" with optimal snow and weather, while Olm noted a tactical approach, adding that Sunday would bring a different challenge.
Sunday's decisive 18km stage from Sorteny to Ordino Arcalís, with 1,700m of climb, was rerouted for safety amid heavy snow. The top contenders stayed in a tight pack, culminating in a sprint finish. Olm broke his ski heel piece during the route but completed the final stretch using one personal ski and a replacement borrowed at the Castellar bridge. Their strong descents secured a 1:58:00 stage time, clinching the win over Ballús and Lázaro in second, and Doumas and Mouret in third.
In the Skimo 10 mixed category, Clàudia Tremps and Joan Ferrer won ahead of Tereza Rudolfová and Tomas Petrecek, with Lea Ancion and Gaetan Desse taking third. Ancion, who had been close after day one, acknowledged her rivals' strength. The women's Skimo 10 went to Sílvia Puigarnau and Roser Español of Fieres de la Seu, ahead of Mònica Casas and Sandra Almeida.
Nearly 400 ski mountaineers from Andorra, Spain, France, Canada, and the Czech Republic participated. In Skimo 8 O40 men's, Joel Vila Farré and Marc Mallarach Guinart (CEO) won in 4:11:26 (2:35:32 Saturday, 1:35:54 Sunday), with Vila Farré leading day one by one second. They also took the Sunday stage ahead of Enric Bosch and Albert Masana, and Adrià Mesalles and Dirk Fumadó. Skimo 6 winners were Lleïr Moreno Camps and Marc Masana (Rocs del Prepirineu) in 2:25:47, plus mixed pair Arnaud Veck and Georgina Morente, and women's duo Anna Canals and Anna Planella. New Sunday events included Skimo 4, won by Marc and Àlex Saura, and Skimo 2, taken by Joan Lluch ahead of FAM's Jan Escofet.
The event counted toward the MoraBanc Andorra Ski Mountaineering Cup, FEEC Open, Coupe des Pyrénées, and made its debut in the ISMF continental series.
