The Andorran government has recognised taekwondo athlete Naiara Liñán for her standout performance over the past year.
Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Mònica Bonell and Secretary of State Alain Cabanes hosted Liñán in Andorra la Vella to celebrate her achievements. The 21-year-old ended the season ranked 25th in the world, capping a campaign that included 17th place at the World Championships in Wuxi and fifth position at the Olympic European Championships.
Liñán, who hails from Andorra, now turns her focus to 2026 with ambitions to build on her progress and target qualification for the Los Angeles Olympics.
