Nil Solans and Others Claim Andbank GSeries 2025-2026 Ice Racing Titles

Nil Solans, Antonio Otero, Mikel Azcona, and Juan Antonio Conesa secured the Andbank GSeries 2025-2026 championship titles in their categories at the season finale on Circuit Andorra – Pas de la Casa.

The fourth round on the ice track featured high-stakes racing across Giand, Rally3, Kartcross, and Side by Side classes. In Giand, Andorran driver Raül Ferré claimed victory in a PCR Sport prototype, his second outright win of the season. He finished ahead of Erik Faura and Christine Giampaoli, the top female driver of the round. Ferré's result locked in second place overall, while Solans—absent from the finale—captured his third career title in the category, ahead of Ferré and Faura.

Antonio Otero swept the new Rally3 class with a third straight win at Pas de la Casa, marking a historic hat-trick. The Galician, a two-time Clio Ice Trophy winner and Puzzle Motor owner, took the inaugural championship ahead of Gustavo Castro and Volkan Isik.

Mikel Azcona wrapped up a perfect ice racing debut in Kartcross with another round victory. The Hyundai Motorsport driver led Nelson de la Vega and Jordi Villardell, who joined him on both the event and season podiums.

In Side by Side, José Roger won the G4 ahead of Jesús Cucharrera and Maxime Emery, earning runner-up points in the standings. Juan Antonio Conesa finished ninth in the round but amassed enough points for his first full-season title, ahead of Roger and Emery.

Circuit director Álex Bercianos hailed the championship's achievements, including stable categories, solid participation, and all four rounds on time. He thanked sponsors Andbank, HiperPas, and Encamp commune, while noting planning is already underway for 2027 to elevate every element.

The event reinforced the series' progress, new talent emergence, and the venue's status in European ice racing.
