VPC responded with a penalty of their own to narrow it to 7-6, but another BUC score pushed it to 12-9 at halftime following a late hosts' penalty.
VPC dominated the second half, pulling ahead 12-22 with a converted try and two penalties. BUC fought back to lead 24-22, added another try, and held off a late VPC response despite a final Andorran try. A red card in the closing stages hampered VPC's push, sealing the narrow defeat.
The result leaves VPC on 48 points in second place, one point behind CAU Rugby València, who won 27-9 at El Toro RC to reach 51. BUC climb to third with 38 points.
