- Drivers advised to expect extended delays; situation ongoing.
Andorra's road network is experiencing heavy traffic delays this afternoon, particularly at the southern entrances to Canillo, Encamp, and La Massana, according to the Mobility Service.
Dense congestion has built up along the CG-2 highway leading into Canillo and Encamp from the south, with long queues reported. Similar backups are affecting the CG-4 at the entrance to La Massana, including the Prat del Col area in the same direction. These disruptions coincide with high tourist volumes heading to ski resorts over the weekend, as well as evening congestion yesterday at the southern border exit via the CG-1.
The Mobility Service noted that local Three Kings parades across several parishes are also causing temporary changes to normal traffic flow until around 19:30 this evening.
Drivers should anticipate extended delays in these areas, with the situation still developing.
