CityXerpa Pay and Andbank add Bizum to Andorra POS terminals

CityXerpa Pay, with Andbank as its technological and financial partner, has integrated Bizum into standard point‑of‑sale (POS) terminals in Andorra. The CityXerpa Pay payment application is now installed on market‑standard terminals, enabling merchants to accept Bizum transfers directly at checkout.

The rollout arrives ahead of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the Christmas sales period. Activating Bizum on the POS gives retailers a fast, familiar and widely used payment option designed to improve the customer experience and support conversion during peak demand.

Merchants affiliated with CityXerpa Pay will continue to benefit from a 0% bank commission on Bizum payments, as well as on payments made through the CityXerpa platform and on regular POS transactions under the agreement with Andbank. That commercial advantage is presented as part of a wider push to modernize and digitalize local commerce.

CityXerpa and Andbank say the initiative consolidates their commitment to offering competitive, innovative payment tools for Andorran businesses, simplifying transactions for both retailers and consumers.
