The ministry, headed by Ramon Lladós, selected the firm through an international tender process. The announcement appeared in this morning's edition of the Butlletí Oficial del Principat d'Andorra (BOPA). Work begins upon contract signing and concludes with the closure of subscription operations for the new issuance.

In Andorra, Cases&Lacambra counts former Taxes and Customs director general and ex-Andorran Banking Association (AREB) president Albert Hinojosa among its prominent figures. The firm also has indirect links to Andbank.

The project supports renewal of the government's existing public debt programme to meet upcoming obligations. No additional details on the new issuance's conditions or schedule are available.
