Rouco's visit included tours of key facilities, such as the Caldea thermal complex—one of Europe's leading leisure centres—and urban features linked to thermal water use. Escaldes-Engordany authorities also showcased the "L’aigua i la forma" project by Javier Balmaseda, which brings thermal water access to residents without requiring entry to the main centre.
