Andorra Sets 2026 Summer Sales from June 19 to August 30

The Andorran government has set the official summer sales period for 2026 from Friday, June 19, to Sunday, August 30, following agreement with retail sector associations.

The decree, published on Wednesday in the Butlletí Oficial del Principat d’Andorra (BOPA), allows shops to offer private discounts beforehand, from Friday, June 12, to Thursday, June 18. These promotions target only customers enrolled in each store's loyalty programmes.

Shops may choose whether to join the sales, provided they follow existing retail regulations and uphold consumer rights along with principles of good faith in transactions. Sales qualify as discounts when products sell below their prior price, and private offers must occur solely in the week before the official start.

The Ministry of Tourism and Commerce coordinated the calendar with industry groups to enhance retail transparency and quality. Officials note it strengthens consumer information rights, merchant decision-making freedom, and balance in commercial dealings, while boosting the sector's image.
