Andorra Launches Digital Training for Retail Pros via CCIS and Ministry

A new collaboration delivers flexible, online resources to boost retail customer service and competitiveness. Professionals access modules anytime, earning joint certificates upon completion.

Key Points

  • CCIS, Ministry of Tourism and Trade, and Andorra Turisme sign agreement for online customer service program.
  • Fully asynchronous training on cevirtual.ad platform with six initial itineraries and certificates.
  • CCIS manages operations and funding; partners provide content and oversight.
  • Plans to expand to restaurants and hospitality sectors later.

The Andorran Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIS), the Ministry of Tourism and Trade, and Andorra Turisme have signed a collaboration agreement to introduce a digital training programme for retail sector professionals.

The fully online and asynchronous format delivers practical resources to strengthen customer service, elevate service standards, and support the sector's competitiveness in a challenging market. Participants can access materials anytime via the CCIS's cevirtual.ad platform, fitting training around their schedules without set times or live classes.

Successful participants earn certificates from the CCIS and the Ministry of Tourism and Trade. The initial rollout features six specialised customer service itineraries, each with multiple modules created by the CCIS and Andorra Turisme. A dedicated cross-cutting module on Andorra's background, service ethos, and tourism landscape will be developed with the Ministry of Tourism and Trade.

The CCIS handles day-to-day management, including supplier selection, project coordination, platform operations, and outreach to companies. The Ministry of Tourism and Trade and Andorra Turisme assist with content on national and industry matters, supply resources, and provide institutional monitoring. The CCIS and Andorra Turisme cover the funding.

This flexible, sector-specific approach aims for ongoing development, with plans to expand into areas such as restaurants and hospitality in later stages.
