UNNIC, the leisure centre in Prat de la Creu, posted operating revenues of €12.44 million in 2025, up 18.6% from €10.49 million the year before—an increase of almost €2 million. Compared to its 2023 launch year, when income totalled €7.46 million, the growth stands at 66.6%.

Net profit rose 44.33% over 2024, though exact amounts remain undisclosed. José Fulgencio Cano, the general director, credited the progress to stronger revenues, tighter staff cost controls, a lease renewal on more advantageous terms, and lower finance expenses—including €515,000 in savings—supported by new shareholder capital.

Cano described the results as evidence that the project follows its business plan. He called UNNIC a robust, sustainable operation that enhances Andorra's tourism, leisure, and cultural landscape year-round, attracting steadily higher visitor numbers.

The upward momentum persisted into the first half of 2026, with revenues 5% ahead of the same period in 2025. Cano said economic performance through 2025 and early 2026 has stayed positive and in line with forecasts.

Managers position UNNIC as Andorra's go-to spot for events, dining, music, and entertainment. For 2026, more than 250 activities are scheduled, covering cultural events such as music, comedy, magic, and the "UNNIC Talent" series, plus gastronomic options like themed menus, wine tastings, and workshops.

Recent highlights included high-profile Spanish performers Grison from TVE's La Revuelta, José Corbacho, and David Fernández. Planned acts for autumn and winter 2026/27 feature David Otero of El Canto del Loco, Goya-winning actor and comedian Luis Zahera, and Operación Triunfo 2017 finalist Alfred García.

The centre also teased an upcoming addition to its restaurant that promises buzz ahead of the winter season.

Cano affirmed that business plan targets are on track, paving the way for potential dividend payments starting in the 2030 financial year if trends continue.
