Andorra's National Cybersecurity Agency (ANC-AD) and the Andorran Financial Authority (AFA) have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance institutional cooperation on cybersecurity and the operational resilience of financial entities under AFA supervision.

The pact, which also incorporates the CSIRT-AD—Andorra's Computer Security Incident Response Team—sets out an operational coordination framework. It aims to deliver more coordinated and effective responses to digital risks and threats impacting the financial sector, where cybersecurity and service continuity are crucial for maintaining trust and stability.

Key provisions include mechanisms for exchanging information on incidents, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, systemic risks, and sector trends, along with corrective measures and relevant technical and strategic data. These exchanges will occur through secure channels, guided by principles of confidentiality, need-to-know, and data minimisation.

The agreement responds to the increasing importance of protecting Andorra's financial system amid evolving digital challenges. It was formalised in Andorra la Vella, with details released on 7 October 2026.
