Broadband internet subscribers in Andorra climbed to 44,366 in February 2026, reflecting a 2.8% rise from 43,171 a year earlier, based on Department of Statistics data.
These figures underscore ongoing expansion in the telecom sector. Mobile subscriptions increased to 134,351, a gain variously reported as 4% from 129,257 or 3.9%. Fixed telephony lines edged up 1.3% to 54,389, compared with 53,668 in February 2025.
Data consumption drove much of the growth, with total internet traffic reaching 14.86 million gigabytes—a 6.7% year-on-year increase. Mobile data usage saw the sharpest surge at 34.7%, signaling deeper reliance on mobile devices for connectivity.
By contrast, non-internet voice traffic shrank 15.6% to 10.51 million minutes. National calls accounted for 7.92 million minutes, or 75.3% of the total, down 4.2%. International calls plummeted 38.1% to 2.60 million minutes, comprising 24.7% of overall voice volume.
The patterns highlight a clear shift to data-centric services, eroding demand for conventional voice calls—especially cross-border ones. Mobile prepaid plans appear to be leveling off amid these trends.
