Andorra Business and Creand Accelera have wrapped up the first edition of their Enlaira programme, choosing three startups from the health, education, and green economy sectors after four months of tailored mentoring for ventures with growth potential.

The initiative, designed to bolster Andorra's startup ecosystem and drive economic diversification via innovation, drew 15 applications. The selected projects underwent a bespoke programme with up to 30 hours of one-on-one mentoring, strategic workshops, and networking opportunities in local business and finance circles. Sessions covered business strategy, finance and investment, sales and marketing, operations, conflict resolution, and legal regulations. Each startup also gained €5,000 in funding to target a priority area, alongside preferential access to banking services and industry connections.

Judit Hidalgo, director of Andorra Business, noted that the programme revealed "the innovative capacity and entrepreneurial talent in the country," while underscoring the value of structured guidance to help projects scale and stabilise. She said such efforts create high-value economic activity and establish Andorra as a startup-friendly hub.

Santiago de Larrea, innovation director at Creand Crèdit Andorrà, stated that Enlaira confirmed local entrepreneurial promise and delivered a "real qualitative leap" for participants. He added that the edition validated the format and provided insights to refine future runs.

Organisers are now gearing up for the second edition, with details due in the coming weeks.
