Andorra Business Opens 2026 Grants with €180,000 Boost for SMEs

Andorra Business has opened applications for its 2026 business grants programme, providing 180,000 euros—a roughly 30% increase over last year—to support company growth and competitiveness.

Launched on Wednesday with publication in the BOPA, the initiative offers subsidies covering up to 80% of eligible project costs, capped at 6,000 euros per company. These funds target specialised services promoting higher-value business models, sustainability, international expansion, optimisation, and innovation, with a particular focus on SMEs.

Andorra Business director Judit Hidalgo noted that the scheme reduces access barriers for smaller firms, speeding up strategic projects. She highlighted its role in fostering participation from SMEs, which form the programme's core.

Running since 2018 in response to rising demand, the grants have supported more than 300 companies with over 1.3 million euros in total funding. Last year's round benefited over 30 businesses—mostly SMEs—in sectors including technology, services, commerce, and health, contributing to economic diversification.

The entity describes the budget increase as consolidating the programme's expansion and reaffirming commitment to the local business fabric through advisory services, accompaniment, and financial aid.

Applications are open now and close on 29 May. A second round may follow from 23 September to 30 October if funds remain available. Andorra Business continues to provide guidance to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem and global presence.
