Fuel prices across all categories rose in Andorra during March compared to February, primarily due to disruptions from the war in Iran, according to Statistics Department data.
Vehicle diesel saw the largest increases: standard automotive diesel jumped 21.7% to an average of €1.493 per litre, while premium diesel rose 21.1% to €1.524 per litre. Heating diesel for home delivery climbed 23% to €1.180 per litre, and retail heating diesel increased 22.7% to €1.128 per litre.
Unleaded petrol also rose month-on-month, with 95-octane up 12.7% to €1.443 per litre and 98-octane gaining 12.1% to €1.503 per litre.
Year-over-year comparisons for March showed continued gains: heating diesel for home delivery up 21.3%, retail heating diesel up 22.5%, vehicle diesel up 18.1% and 17.5% respectively, and unleaded petrol up 6.5% and 6.2%.
For the first quarter of 2026 versus 2025, vehicle diesel edged higher by 0.3% and 0.1%, while unleaded petrol fell 3.9% and 3.8%. Over the past 12 months, however, most fuels declined: vehicle diesel down 4.6% for both types, unleaded petrol down 6.4% and 6.2%, and heating diesel down 2.9% for both.
