Immigration authorizations issued in Andorra dropped 4.8% in the final quarter of 2025 from the year before, with the statistics department reporting 6,076 initial permits from October to December, a reduction of 308.

Residence permits saw the steepest decline at 14.5%, totaling 377, while residence and work permits rose slightly by 0.6% to 858. Temporary permits, which made up the bulk at 4,573, fell 4.8%; this included a 23.6% drop in those for foreign companies to 110 and a 17.4% decrease in permits for studies, research, training or sports to 38. Prorogable authorizations came to 1,324, down 2.9%. Frontier worker permits surged 62.7% to 83, including 31 temporaries.

Occupational breakdowns showed losses in restaurant services, personal services, protection and commerce roles (down 134, or 5.7%) and unskilled laborers (down 66, or 4.0%). Gains occurred in managerial roles (up 30%, or 15), operators of installations and machinery (up 8.8%, or 10) and support technicians (up 3.8%, or 32). No permits went to agricultural and fishing workers, a 100% fall from two the prior year.

Active authorizations climbed 2.4% to 60,284 by December 31. Prorogables hit 55,410 (up 3.2%), residence and work permits reached 43,206 (up 3.2%) and pure residence stood at 10,151 (up 3.4%). Frontier workers totaled 1,943 (up 3.7%, or 70). Temporary permits softened overall, with foreign company ones at 186 (down 35.9%) and winter seasonal quotas at 4,574 (down 4.7%).

"Other nationalities" took 4,451 initial permits (73.3% of the total), led by Argentines (47.3% of that group), Colombians (12%) and Peruvians (3.7%). Spaniards got 1,313 (21.6%), French 3.8% and Portuguese 1.3%. Departures increased 18.3% to 272, half involving Spaniards.
