Andorra's import prices rose 8.9% in December 2025 compared to the previous year, while export prices climbed 11.7%, according to data released on Wednesday by the Department of Statistics.
Month-over-month, import prices increased by 7.0%, with export prices surging even more sharply at 18.1%.
Breaking down import prices by use category, consumer goods saw a 12.2% year-on-year rise, capital goods jumped 15.6%, and intermediate goods fell 2.5%. Compared to November 2025, unit prices for consumer goods rose 9.6% and capital goods 9.4%, while intermediate goods declined 1.5%.
Under the Unified International Trade Classification (CUCI), import price trends were mixed. Notable declines included oils, fats, and waxes of animal and vegetable origin, down 32.8%, and non-edible raw materials excluding fuels, down 9.5%. Strong gains featured machinery and transport equipment, up 24.0%, chemical products and similar items at 9.4%, and food products and live animals, up 3.5%.
By geographic origin, unit prices for imports from Spain increased 6.0%, those from France dropped 2.2%, products from the rest of the EU and Great Britain rose 8.3%, and goods from the rest of the world surged 25.7%.
