Andorra's median monthly salary reached €2,166.05 in February, up 5.7% from the previous year, with the average rising 6.3% to €2,724.33, according to preliminary figures from the Department of Statistics.
The salaried workforce stood at 48,866, a 1.7% increase year-on-year, while total wage mass grew 8.1% to €133.13 million. Officials describe these trends as evidence of sustained labour market expansion, with higher earnings and larger payrolls offsetting a minor drop from January's 49,134 workers.
January's semi-final data showed similar gains. Median pay was €2,194.66—a 5% rise, with half of workers earning that amount or less—while the average reached €2,689.20, up 4%. Wage mass totalled €132.13 million, a 5.8% increase.
Sector results differed sharply. In January, hospitality recorded the strongest pay growth, with median salaries up 7.6% and averages climbing 11.1%; other social activities and personal services saw 6.4% median gains, and motor vehicle sales and repairs posted 7.6% average increases. Electricity, gas and water supply led employment growth at 12.5%, alongside 14.8% higher wage mass. Agriculture, livestock, hunting and forestry added 9.3% more jobs but saw median pay fall 3.4%. Transport and communications faced the biggest setbacks, with 13.6% lower wage mass and 13.2% average salary drops; hospitality and motor vehicle sales lost 4.0% and 1.8% of jobs, respectively.
By occupation, administrative secretaries grew 7.8% in January employment, while waiters and bartenders fell 3.8%. The most common salary bracket in December 2025 ranged from €1,900 to €2,000, encompassing 5.4% of workers.
The department notes that CASS data reflect gross totals only, excluding breakdowns for hours worked, bonuses, part-time status or other components.
