Andorra's register of qualified professionals reached 3,912 active members at the end of 2025, reflecting a net gain of 252—or 6.9%—from the 3,660 recorded at the end of 2024, according to the latest Statistics Department figures.

Foreign nationals now exceed 55% of the total, a share that has more than tripled since 2018. Andorrans represent 44.8%, while Spaniards account for 44.2% and saw a net increase of 146 professionals over the year. The Spanish group captured 53.3% of new authorisations, compared to 37% for Andorrans.

New authorisations totalled 332, up 22.5% from 271 in 2024. Women secured 57.8% of these (192 out of 332), with 55.4% tied to postgraduate university degrees (second and third cycles) and 25.9% to undergraduate ones (first cycle). Departures fell to 80, a 37.5% drop from 128 the prior year, with 38.8% involving Spaniards and 68.7% women (55 out of 80).

The workforce remains balanced between self-employed (1,916) and salaried (1,909) roles. Women hold 54.2% of all positions (2,122 out of 3,912), compared to 45.8% for men (1,790). Highly qualified profiles prevail, with 56.6% holding postgraduate degrees and 26.2% undergraduate ones.

Both genders recorded positive net gains—women with +137 and men with +115—underscoring sustained growth in liberal professions such as health and law, driven by foreign talent.
