Andorra's 2025 Christmas company dinner season has wrapped up successfully, with restaurants reporting one of the strongest turnouts in recent years.
At least 70 corporate Christmas dinners—both lunches and evening meals—took place at the Unnic entertainment centre between November and December. These events were hosted across El Restaurant and Sala Green Box. A highlight was "El Nadal de les Empreses" on 10 December in the Green Box hall, a new format tailored for smaller firms. It featured a set dinner, open bar during the meal, live performances, a DJ, and an after-party, drawing 73 attendees.
Angelo Guitart, owner of the Kanalla group and a board member of Unió Hotelera, described the dinners as family-like gatherings. He noted that menus are planned from July or August, with advertising and bookings following. Demand has grown annually, though staffing shortages posed challenges. "We aim to make it feel special, like home," he said.
Chef Martínez of the Michelin-listed Beç Restaurant confirmed the trend, stating they hosted many such events despite higher prices. "We're fully booked every day," he added, highlighting expansions including the new Casa del Poble venue and an upcoming steakhouse with reservations already in place. He emphasised quality and enthusiasm in Andorra's offerings.
Marc Navarro, chef at Unnic's restaurant, observed a rebound in demand since last year, driven more by employees organising events than companies directly. Venues have adapted with budget-friendly options: three shared menus of six dishes, priced from €26 to €45, with most at €36-€45. Reservations are strongest in Andorra la Vella.
Restaurant owners consulted by the Andorran News Agency (ANA) praised rising interest in packages blending food, entertainment, and team bonding, though some events now attract families too.
