Andorra Telecom has reported more than 5,000 visitors adopting its eSIM service in the first month and a half since the late November launch, describing the uptake as a strong endorsement of the tourist-focused connectivity option.

The three-day plan remains the most popular, followed by the seven-day version, which matches average stay durations in the Principat. A significant portion of users purchase the eSIM before arriving in Andorra, highlighting the appeal of pre-trip activation. Digital eSIMs account for 85% of sales, with physical SIMs at 15%, reflecting solid market penetration of compatible devices and potential for expansion.

Xavier Agulló, Andorra Telecom's marketing and sales director, said the results confirm the service addresses a core visitor demand for seamless connectivity on arrival. He added that instant purchase and activation have boosted customer experience by eliminating the need for in-store visits.

The figures underscore growing reliance on digital solutions, establishing eSIM Andorra as a practical choice for short-term stays in the country.
