- Caldea has begun a major transformation—replacing the tower’s glass and revamping its digital systems.
Caldea has entered a new phase of its comprehensive transformation project, starting with the replacement of the tower’s glass — a preparatory step for the planned hotel — alongside a major overhaul of its digital systems.
As part of this digital renewal, Amazon has awarded Caldea a quality seal for the design of its new technological architecture, evaluated against the criteria of Amazon Web Services’ Well‑Architected Tools. The recognition covers the project’s current preparatory phase.
The planned digital infrastructure is built around cloud services and emphasizes innovation, scalability and security. It integrates advanced cloud solutions, intelligent automation and process optimization to deliver a solution designed for growth, high availability and operational efficiency.
To obtain the seal, Caldea met AWS requirements across several areas: creative use of AWS services to address complex challenges; scalable and resilient design; strong security controls and regulatory compliance; cost and performance optimization; demonstrable business impact; and measures to support sustainability. The design follows the pillars of the Well‑Architected Framework and implements AWS best practices.
“This achievement reflects our commitment to digital transformation and innovation, positioning us as a reference in designing ecosystems capable of meeting the most demanding standards globally,” said Miguel Pedregal, director of Caldea.
The validation by AWS marks a step toward a modern, cloud‑based platform intended to support Caldea’s operational needs and future developments, including the hotel project.
