Andorra will host the immersive concert "Van Gogh Alive Andorra" on March 26 at Sala Prat del Roure in Escaldes-Engordany, pairing live music from a local quintet with large-scale projections tracing Vincent van Gogh's life and artistic trajectory.
The event offers two sessions at 8pm and 9.30pm, each accommodating around 150 people, with tickets at €20 available via the official website. Organisers unveiled the project on Wednesday, featuring Joan Prat, director general of Molines Patrimonis; Gilbert Saboya and Francesc Camp from promoter Whynot; and musical director Enric Bartumeu.
Sponsored by Molines Patrimonis, the concert complements the "Van Gogh Alive Andorra 2026" exhibition by Grande Experiences. It delivers a multisensory experience, blending pop covers—including Coldplay and Imagine Dragons tracks—with original pieces and a chronological visual narrative. Projections highlight key phases of Van Gogh's life, such as his mental health struggles and final decline, with musical director Kic Barroc noting that the slides follow a deliberate sequence rather than random selection.
The performers include Kic Barroc on piano and arrangements, Kike Pérez (also referred to as Quique Pérez) on drums, Brady Lynch on double bass, violinist Elias Porter and cellist Mireia Planas from the Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d’Andorra (ONCA), and vocalist Eugènia Correia, who helped shape the repertoire alongside ONCA musicians.
Promoter Gilbert Saboya emphasised the show's distinct content from the main immersive space, stating it offers entirely different material for those who have already visited. Organisers from Molines Patrimonis and Whynot described the initiative as a fresh cultural format to enhance Andorra's offerings through integrated art and music.
