Cristina Llanas Sancho from Encamp has won the Recull category at the 29th Miquel Martí i Pol poetry awards with her collection *Recer*, presented under the pseudonym Feréstega Pyrene. The jury praised its quality, consistency, and the creation of an interesting, inspired and complete imaginative world.
The awards ceremony took place on Tuesday evening, coinciding with World Book Day, at an event hosted by the Public Library. Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Mònica Bonell presented the prizes. Albert Ruiz Feijóo from Escaldes-Engordany received the accèssit in the Recull category for *La buidor sense fons de la bossa de mà*. He also claimed the top prize in the Poema category for *La dona feina*, which the jury described as featuring suggestive imagery in a feminist and campaigning tone. No accèssit was awarded in Poema.
The jury consisted of Arnau Orobitg, Lydia Magallón and Maria Teresa Portella. Orobitg read a poem from Llanas's winning collection in her absence, including lines such as: "We arrived before the noise could prose it"; "The pink chewing gum you pass through my mouth stretches time"; "Labyrinths are a spool of thread that unites us"; and "Faithful to what we have and to the light we invent".
This edition drew 30 entries: 16 poems and 14 collections. The first prize in Recull carries 1,200 euros and two book lots; the Poema prize offers 300 euros and a book lot. Bonell thanked participants, noting that "writing a poem is an intimate act" and sharing it "a gesture of trust and courage".
The evening closed with a poetry recital by *Més tuc de neu*, featuring Francesca Guardiola's voice and Guillem Pérez Casals on guitar. The performance included new arrangements of works by Andorran poets such as Antoni Caus, Ester Fenoll, Josep Enric Dallerès and Noemí Rodríguez, alongside classics like Maria Antònia Salvà's *Quietud*.
