Andorra Returns to Madrid Book Fair with 160 Titles and 8 Publishers

Andorra is participating for the fourth time in the 85th Madrid Book Fair with its own stand, featuring 160 titles in Catalan and Spanish. The event runs from 29 May to 14 June in Madrid's Parque del Retiro.

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, through its Public Reading and Libraries Area, organised the presence of Andorran publishers, who are members of the Andorran Publishers Association. Culture Minister Mònica Bonell travelled to Madrid for the opening ceremony and visited the stand.

This year's fair focuses on humour. The initiative aims to promote Andorra's publishing sector, showcase titles produced with direct or indirect institutional support, and introduce the country's diverse writers and publishers to new audiences.

Eight publishers are taking part: Publicacions del Govern d’Andorra, Editorial Andorra, Anem Editors, Trotalibros Editorial, Editorial i Acadèmia Masegosa, Llamps i trons, Editorial Medusa, and Edicions Marinada.

Book signings by Jorge Cebrián, author of *L’estafador que va ser rei d’Andorra* published by Anem Editors, are scheduled for Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31 May.
