Miguel Bosé Chooses Discreet Chalet in Andorra for Family Move

Miguel Bosé, the Spanish-Italian singer known for hits like *Amante bandido* and *Don Diablo*, has selected a chalet in Escaldes-Engordany's Guem urbanisation as his new home in Andorra.

According to local sources, the artist, who holds Panamanian citizenship and has lived in Mexico City in recent years, has reserved the property, formally listed as Xalet Esclop in cadastral records but marked on its facade as Four Oaks Grange. He is due to make initial moves toward the residence next month, under a rental agreement exceeding €10,000 per month. The chalet, neither the newest nor most luxurious in the area, offers ample storage space and is shielded by surrounding trees and shrubs, aligning with Bosé's priorities of security, discretion, and privacy. He plans minor additions like extra fencing, which communal authorities do not expect to require formal approval.

The property belongs to an Anglo-Indian citizen—described variably as linked to a British family of Indian origin or with ties to the United Arab Emirates—who has not occupied it for some time. Originally intended for sale and previously equipped, the owner agreed to clear it out to allow Bosé to furnish it as needed. Neighbours note the owners, likely passive residents running businesses abroad possibly in organic food and agriculture, maintain the site.

Bosé's decision follows months of searches assisted by local real estate agents and consultants experienced in relocating high-net-worth individuals to Andorra. He prioritised rentals with gardens, multiple rooms, and isolation from neighbours, preferably in northern valleys for school proximity. Recent intensive visits included properties in Sispony and near Collège Sant Ermengol in Andorra la Vella, but Guem prevailed due to its discreet location near a road bend in a mixed neighbourhood of affluent locals, wealthy nationals, and recent content creators.

A key factor is family: his 14-year-old sons Tadeo and Diego, born via surrogacy during his relationship with sculptor Nacho Palau, have been enrolled for months at Agora International School in Aldosa, La Massana—formerly known as Col·legi dels Pirineus. The boys, who live with Bosé in Mexico, will attend next term; Palau's sons Ivo and Telmo may join during holidays. Relations with his ex-partner remain strained.

The move stems partly from a violent home robbery in Mexico last year, which involved staff and minors and heightened Bosé's security concerns. Beyond fiscal benefits and easier access to Spain for family visits, he aims to start a new personal and professional phase post-international tour, joining other public figures drawn to Andorra's safety, quality of life, and residential protections. Details on the lease type remain undisclosed, but it will follow standard urban rental regulations.
