The Serenalla Market opens Thursday at Parc del Prat Gran in La Massana, offering more than 40 activities across four days and solidifying its place as a major summer highlight in Andorra.

A key draw is the Friday 8:30pm performance by 18-year-old Andorran artist IAN at Espai Música. Known from his recent TV3 Eufòria appearance and the contest finale at Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi, IAN will mix electronic pop, ballads, and fresh takes on international pop hits, featuring dance and dynamic visuals—including some standout moments from the show.

La Massana Tourism councillor Mònica Solé emphasised during Wednesday's presentation that the Comú views events like this as vital platforms for local talent. "It's part of a new generation of Andorran artists starting to make their mark with real strength and skill," she said, adding that such opportunities help emerging performers gain visibility and build their careers.

Music runs strong through the weekend with eight live acts and DJ sets. Joining IAN on stage are Chris Aguilar, Pai Nai Project, Green Note, and Vibrand Quartet, while DJs Hector+, Lisa Rose, and Miqui Puig handle the evening vibes.

The lineup extends far beyond concerts, weaving together leisure, culture, wellbeing, and insight. Expect creative workshops, family programmes, yoga and mindful movement, food tastings, live performances, and more. Standouts include eight "àgores" themed "Som Mirall" (We Are Mirror), exploring society, human connections, science, health, culture, and emotional wellbeing. Contributors feature scientist and author Sonia Fernández-Vidal, astrophysicist Ignasi Ribas, journalist Haydée Vila, and economist Laura Encina.

Some 27 artisanal and sustainable stalls, 16 food options, and five food trucks round out the commercial side. Wellbeing sessions cover meditation, pilates, conscious breathing, live dance, and sound baths, alongside kids' workshops, cooking demos, artistic shows, and an open-air cinema showing of Grease. Daily schedules from morning to night vary, ensuring broad appeal for all ages.

The event runs July 16 to 19. Check the full programme at visitlamassana.ad.
