Universitat Europea Graduates Third Cohort in Andorra with 100+ Students

Universitat Europea (eUniv) celebrated its third cohort graduation on Saturday evening, bringing together more than 100 students from Andorra and abroad alongside nearly 400 guests at Auditori Claror in the Centre Cultural i de Congressos Lauredià.

Rector Antoni Noguero presided over the ceremony, which underscored the university's establishment six years after its 2020 arrival in the Principat. Key figures in attendance included chancellor Jesús M. Prujà, ACTINN president Albert Moles as class sponsor, and AQUA director Isaac Galobardes.

Eva Choy, an MBA graduate and director of the Escola Andorrana de Sant Julià as well as former minor consul of Ordino, delivered an emotional address for her fellow students. She highlighted their collective effort, persistence, and dedication throughout their academic journey.

The event included the presentation of degrees to graduates and doctoral medals to Rodrigo Cabedo and Ángeles Corredor, who successfully defended their theses this academic year. It concluded with traditional group photos amid a shared sense of emotion, pride, and celebration across the university community.

Since its launch, eUniv has grown to provide nearly 20 qualifications in both in-person and online formats. The institution has graduated over 100 students, with more than 500 having enrolled to date.

Academic secretary Marc Escolà emphasised eUniv's dedication to Andorra, noting its 92-strong teaching staff and significant local investments. "We are an institutional commitment, not a business or anything like it, and we have made a large number of investments in the country," he said.

Escolà also welcomed recent legislative reforms on higher education proposed to the Consell General. "The reform improves the current situation considerably, and the subsequent rollout of this law should enhance it even further," he added.
