Andorra Names Winners of 12th Sergi Mas Awards for Young Artists

The Andorran Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has named the winners of the 12th Sergi Mas Awards for young artists, allocating €9,000 in total to encourage creativity and professional training among those aged 14 to 35.

Organized through the Youth Promotion and Volunteering Area, this edition raised its budget to cover cash prizes and two €1,500 scholarships usable for art school tuition, specialized courses, or supplies.

In Category A (14-17 years), Noemí Rodea won €600 for Llum de memòria. Second-place awards of €200 each went to Alexandra Vicente for Construïm o destruïm? and Laia Solé for Gris i apagat, però veus aquella llum?. Roc Tugues took third with €100 for No és feina física, és càrrega mental.

Category B (18-24 years) awarded €1,000 to Arnau Sánchez for Sergi Mas i el seu món. Anna Monegal received €600 for Alié in second, while Aisha Pires earned €300 for third-place Entre esquerdes i flors.

In Category C (25-35 years), Emma Regada secured the top €1,500 prize for Qui queda?. Myriam Grau got €900 for L’esmorzar de forquilla, and Pol Llovera claimed €600 for Què has fet?.

The jury also granted the two Sergi Mas scholarships—€1,500 each—to Roc Tugues for No és feina física, és càrrega mental and Alexandra Vicente for Construïm o destruïm?.

All winning works will appear in a traveling exhibition launching at the Rosaleda hotel in Encamp, the ministry's base, to promote the young creators nationwide.
