Unicef Andorra Gala Dinner Raises Funds for Children in Central African Republic

Unicef Andorra's Solidary Gala Dinner, presented by Alba Carrillo, is set for October 1 at 8pm at Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa. Tickets cost 250 euros and remain available in limited numbers via the Unicef Andorra website.

Proceeds will support a four-year Unicef programme protecting and reintegrating around 2,000 children affected by armed conflicts in the Central African Republic. The initiative offers protection services, psychosocial support, family reunification, education access, and vocational training to help the boys and girls leave armed groups, rejoin communities, and rebuild lives free from violence.

Dàmaris Castellanos, Unicef Andorra director, said the event aims to turn public solidarity into concrete protection, education, and opportunities for these children. She stressed that separating them from armed groups is just the first step in a long recovery.

The evening features a Michelin-starred menu by chefs Jordi Grau and Hideki Matsuhisa, live music, a charity auction of exclusive experiences, interactive elements, and displays raising awareness of children in conflict zones.

Charlotte Bolland from the Unicef International Council, a network of global philanthropists funding child initiatives, will join Andorran society members at the gathering. The public can help advance the Central African Republic efforts.
