Organyà's 30th Fira del Llibre del Pirineu, running through September 6, continues to highlight a strong Andorran presence, with authors and publishers filling presentation slots across the weekend.
Saturday morning brought intense activity from Principat writers. Àlex Terés launched Principat Blaugrana from Llamps i Trons, kicking off a busy session. Fabiola Sofia Masegosa followed with El rebost i altres malsons, published by her own Editorial i Acadèmia Masegosa, while Maria Cucurull presented Coca masegada. Afternoon sessions feature Joan Peruga alongside Berta Oromí for Pilar Burgués's Ametlles torrades and with Carles Pellejero on El museu de l’elefant, Carles Acosta with Quan torni la llum from Marinada Edicions, Txema Díaz-Torrent for Editorial Medusa's Vampirs anthology, Albert Ginestà's Atles de les ombres from Anem Editors, Susana Ginesta's Avui per tu, demà per mi from the same publisher, Iñaki Rubio's Friccions via Medusa, and Antoni Caus with 14 d’abril. Sunday includes Nil Forcada's Teoria del ridícul and Elvira Nadal's Tocats de l’ala.
The event opened Friday with Laia Coma on Flors d’amor, David Gálvez discussing Tafetans de justícia, Tony Lara presenting Passos previs, and Albert Villaró with Montse Ferrer for La cuina d'Estamariu.
Around 20 Andorran authors—roughly a quarter of participants—plus several publishers have drawn editors and readers from the Pyrenees. Leading houses include Llamps i Trons, Marinada Edicions, Editorial Medusa, Editorial Andorra, Editorial i Acadèmia Masegosa, and Anem Editors. Josep Vilaginés of the organising team emphasised the Principat's central role in the fair's mission. Oliver Vergés, president of the Associació d’Editors d’Andorra, highlighted the rising author numbers and September's importance as a key release period after Sant Jordi, helping small presses connect with readers despite limited external distribution.
