Thai woman revived moments before cremation at temple

A 65-year-old woman regained consciousness moments before she was due to be cremated at a temple in Thailand, local media reported on 26 November 2025.

Relatives had believed the woman had died after she stopped breathing and, following customary arrangements, took her to a temple two days later for the cremation ceremony. According to the reports, she moved shortly before the incineration began. Monks at the temple called emergency services and paramedics transported her to hospital alive.
