Andorra's Castellers d'Andorra achieved a historic milestone on Saturday by completing their first 4 de 7 tower, the highest structure they have ever successfully unloaded.

The feat took place in the square outside Ordino town hall during celebrations marking the group's 11th anniversary. Joined by guest teams Minyons de Terrassa and Castellers de Castelldefels, the Andorran colla drew nearly 400 participants in total, including around 100 from their own ranks—many former members who responded to a call for support by retrieving old shirts and strengthening the base.

President Juli Peña had predicted the success beforehand, noting the event's potential as an early-season boost. "If all goes well, we will not only become a colla de 7 but also deliver our finest show ever," he said. The tower was unloaded amid tension and a brief final tremor that did not derail the effort, sparking cheers, hugs, and widespread emotion from the crowd. Earlier in their performance, the group firmly completed a 7 de 6 and 2 de 6, signaling a clear step up in capability.

Cap de colla Pere Baró described the moment as fated. "It had to be today... The stars aligned," he said, referencing the overcast skies that held off rain until after the tower's completion. He highlighted a recent rehearsal record of nearly 100 attendees and a larger overall roster this year, while stressing the need to consolidate the 4 de 7 before targeting a 3 de 7.

Peña emphasized the turnout's role, with a core group augmented by returning members. "A casteller group has a hard nucleus and then a wider circle that comes and goes," he explained. He called the day "varied and truly special," setting a strong tone for the season.

The guests also shone despite eventual rain. Minyons de Terrassa, one of Catalonia's top five colles, premiered their first torre de 7 of the year—chosen cautiously by cap de colla Bru Busom—followed by solid 3 de 8 and 4 de 8 towers. Castellers de Castelldefels completed 3 de 7, 4 de 7, and 5 de 7 structures. Children's pillars closed the event on a high note.
