Andorran filmmaker David Haro is currently filming *11 a Sant Julià de Lòria*, a psychological thriller co-produced by his company Contraban and Spain's Mr. Miyagi Films.

The story follows 10 children on a mountain excursion who encounter heavy snow. Seeking shelter in a refuge, they discover an 11th child whose sudden appearance triggers a series of strange events.

Haro, one of Contraban's founders, joined the project two years ago. Initial plans for last year stalled due to funding and logistical issues, but production began four weeks ago with support from the Andorran government's film grant and assistance from several parishes, including Sant Julià de Lòria.

"We're very pleased," Haro said of the shoot. "The footage is turning out great, and everyone is happy. We believe it's worth it." The large, professional team—with experienced technicians—has handled stress and setbacks effectively, he added.

Haro, who studied engineering in Barcelona before entering the arts and film world, sees cinema as a reflection of human nature. "It's always been a refuge, a place to find stories that transport you to other worlds," he noted.

The film will premiere for friends and family, followed by a festival circuit and a commercial release in over 40 cinemas.

Haro views Andorra's audiovisual sector as an emerging industry. "The Principat is gradually recognising its potential for employment, culture, and economic benefits," he said, expressing hope for more dynamic local productions.
