El Periòdic d’Andorra and the ALL PYRENEES platform have received top honours from the International Academy of Contemporary Arts for 2025 entries.
Irina Rybalchenko, general director of El Periòdic d’Andorra and director of ALL PYRENEES, earned the gold diploma in the Artist Word Award (AWA) professional subcategory within the “artistic project” category. Her award recognised a series of interviews with musicians from various countries, published in El Periòdic d’Andorra and the Catalan-language ASTYLE magazine, as well as on ALL PYRENEES in English, French, Catalan, and Russian.
Rybalchenko has served as an honorary member of the academy since 2024 and as Andorra’s official representative. Valery Mostakov, a 16-year-old from Andorra, received the silver diploma in the AWA 2025 artistic photography category, debutant subcategory, for his photo report *Edat mitjana i modernisme: dos llegats de Catalunya*. His images appeared on ALL PYRENEES.
The founder of ALL PYRENEES, Aleksey Mostakov from Andorra, was posthumously awarded the gold diploma in the AWA 2025 artistic project professional subcategory. The recognition covered his involvement in an educational project and a series of publications on the history and architecture of Cathar castles, issued on ALL PYRENEES in English, French, Catalan, and Russian.
The awards ceremony took place on 4 January 2026 at the Nikolai Sednin Museum in the Moscow region, Russia. Diplomas for Rybalchenko and Valery Mostakov were presented by Nikolai Sednin, honorary president of the International Academy of Contemporary Arts and head of Russia’s Professional Union of Artists.
Founded in 2010, the academy ranks among the world’s most prestigious professional associations, with members from over 140 countries across five continents. Its activities span literature, journalism, music, visual arts, and architecture. Between 2011 and 2026, it has supported nearly 200 national and international events, including charity auctions, solo and group exhibitions, award ceremonies, and concerts featuring prominent figures in culture, literature, music, and visual arts from Russia and abroad.
