Andorrans Shine on Spanish Reality TV and Talent Shows

Two Andorran personalities have drawn attention this week by appearing on popular Spanish reality TV shows, alongside a young local talent advancing in a Catalan music competition.

Marc Torrent Carrillo, a 33-year-old former rugby player known as 'Panda' from his time with Andorra's VPC and FC Barcelona teams, is a contestant on Telecinco's *Casados a primera vista*. Now living in Barcelona and working in logistics and online sales, Torrent has been single for three years and joined the show hoping to start a family. The programme pairs 12 men and women in blind marriages. Torrent quickly matched with Ainhoa, marrying her without knowing her age. Tensions have already emerged after their honeymoon.

Héctor Quintana Garolera, the multifaceted influencer nicknamed 'El Morritos', is taking part in the five-day live-streamed internet reality *La Villa del Pecado*, produced by Blackroom Entertainment and promoted by influencers Oier Luna and Aritz Vidales. Broadcast around the clock from a luxury villa setting, it features 12 contestants—including media figure Kiko Matamoros as a judge—navigating conflicts under constant camera surveillance. Quintana, a veteran of Spanish TV contests who also works as an event host and occasional singer, has barely slept in the early days amid the drama. Other participants include Albita, Hamza Oujaka, Anastasiya, Andrea Palacio (La Palace), El Papi, Bianca, Angela, Eros, Paula, Katy Sanchesky, Niño Fenoy, Raúl Miguel, Aníbal from *La casa de los gemelos 2*, Gabriela and Iñaki from *La isla de las tentaciones*.

Separately, young Andorran singer Ian Moya from Canillo impressed during Friday night's first live gala of TV3's talent show *Eufòria*, hosted by Marta Torné and Miki Núñez. Performing Stromae's *Alors on danse* solo in French—only his second public dance—Moya earned high praise from flamenco and hip-hop judge Queralt Lahoz. Positioning himself as a role model for those outside the norm, including on issues like sexuality, he advances in the competition.
