The ClàssicAnd 2026 festival will open its fourth edition on 28 February with a free concert by the Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d’Andorra (ONCA), conducted by Josep Caballé and featuring flamenco singer Carmen Linares in Manuel de Falla’s *El amor brujo*. The event at the renovated Auditori Nacional d’Ordino will also serve as the official launch for the full programme, including a press conference that day to unveil the remaining artists. The festival itself runs from 29 May to 7 June.

This performance coincides with the 150th anniversary of Falla’s birth and highlights a landmark of 20th-century Spanish music, fusing orchestral and flamenco elements. It brings together three prominent figures: Linares, a key voice in contemporary flamenco and winner of the 2022 Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts, who has sung the work for more than 30 years on stages including New York’s Lincoln Center, Buenos Aires’ Teatro Colón, and Sydney Opera House.

ONCA, founded three decades ago, begins a new artistic chapter in 2026 with a change in leadership. Caballé, a Spanish conductor gaining international prominence, has directed symphonic and operatic works across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

The concert reaffirms ClàssicAnd’s focus on elite programming while marking the venue’s reopening.
