Encamp parish council presented its Cultural Cycle programme on Tuesday for January to June 2026, featuring ten performances across theatre, dance, music and immersive formats, with four explicitly national creations among them.

The €65,000 investment covers all organisation costs for the series, which officials launched early in the year to allow advance planning, foster consistent cultural attendance and build audience loyalty over the semester. Culture, Childhood and Youth councillor Joan Sans called it a "quality programme" that integrates national talent and offers an eclectic mix of stage languages. He thanked the French embassy in Andorra for enabling the opening show and positioned the cycle as a platform for local artists, with national acts comprising nearly half the lineup.

The cycle opens on Wednesday, 21 January, with *Le porteur d’histoire* by Alexis Michalik, a prize-winning French narrative theatre production with over 14 years of success and 75% capacity already booked, according to culture technician Álvaro Rodríguez. Rodríguez highlighted the four national contributions.

National highlights include Aina Sánchez's intimate *22 caixes* on 30 and 31 January; L’Animal Escola de Teatre's adult group in *Projecte Laramie* on 28 March, with tickets sold directly by the company; Lorena Nogal's *PICASSa*, Spain's 2024 National Dance Prize winner, on 7 February at Ràdio Andorra with limited seats; and La Súbita's immersive family show *Ona*, with live music by ONCA member Jordi Claret, in two performances on 6 June.

The programme continues with Rocío Raval's monologue *Miss 40* on 5 March; family show *Alícia al vaixell de les meravelles* by Trencadís Produccions on 7 March; La MONTO Dansa's *Alma*, blending dance and object theatre, on 25 April; Raül Refree and Aída Tarrío's *Gala i Ovidio* concert on 21 March; and Tarta Relena's roots-contemporary fusion on 9 May.

Tickets are on sale via the council website at €12-14 for adults and €6-7 for children, varying by seating. The structured seasonal format prioritises continuity, local creators and diverse audiences over isolated events.
