Encamp parish council has unveiled its Cultural Cycle programme for the first half of 2026, emphasising national talent in nearly half of its ten theatre, dance, music and immersive shows running from January to June.

The series, now in its second edition under the current administration, received a €65,000 allocation to cover planning, organisation and artist fees. Officials presented the full lineup on Tuesday, aiming to establish January announcements as a fixture, encourage advance planning and build steady cultural habits among diverse audiences. Culture, Childhood and Youth councillor Joan Sans described it as a quality lineup blending national creators with varied stage forms, positioning the cycle as a showcase for Andorran artists. He credited the French embassy in Andorra for supporting the opener and noted the push to elevate Encamp's cultural profile.

The programme kicks off on Wednesday, 21 January at 8:30pm in the parish's sala de festes with Alexis Michalik's *Le porteur d’histoire*, a prize-winning French narrative play—including the 2014 Molière for male breakthrough—that has toured for over 14 years and already holds 75% capacity, per culture technician Álvaro Rodríguez.

Four national creations anchor the lineup: Aina Sánchez's intimate *22 caixes*, developed during her La Feréstec residency, on 30-31 January; L’Animal Escola de Teatre's adult ensemble in *Projecte Laramie*—exploring community reactions to the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard—on 28 March, with tickets via the company; Lorena Nogal's *PICASSa*, Spain's 2024 National Dance Prize winner as best performer, on 7 February at Ràdio Andorra with limited seating; and La Súbita's immersive family dance show *Ona*, featuring live music by ONCA member Jordi Claret, in two sessions on 6 June.

Additional highlights include Rocío Raval's humorous monologue *Miss 40* on 5 March, analysing midlife crises; Trencadís Produccions' family musical *Alícia al vaixell de les meravelles* on 7 March; La MONTO Dansa's *Alma*, fusing dance and object theatre, on 25 April; Raül Refree and Aída Tarrío's concert *Gala i Ovidio*—with Refree known for work with Rosalía, Ricky Martin and Sílvia Pérez Cruz, and Tarrío of Tanxugueiras—on 21 March; and Tarta Relena's folk-contemporary fusion on 9 May.

Tickets are available on the council website at €12-14 for adults and €6-7 for children, depending on seating; *Projecte Laramie* sales go direct through the company. The format prioritises sustained programming over one-offs to foster loyalty and highlight local voices.
