The Social Action Department of Escaldes-Engordany has launched the seventh edition of its Empodera’t programme, set to run from January to June 2026. Designed to support women's personal and community development, the series offers practical training, wellness activities, self-care sessions, and creativity workshops to foster confidence, independence, and new abilities.
The programme begins on 20 January at 7pm with a sourdough bread-making workshop led by Núria Robert. Digital competencies form a key focus, including a 24 February session at 7pm by Fernando Sacasa of Agile Compass on obtaining digital certificates and using electronic signatures for daily tasks.
On 10 March at 8pm, Xavier Herver will lead a women’s self-defence masterclass, providing essential tools for handling risk situations. The Espai Jovent will host a natural cosmetics workshop on 26 March at 7pm, where Cyrille Ferrandis will demonstrate how to prepare body and hand creams.
Design skills continue in spring with Meritxell Baró of Sisè Grau presenting Canva basics on 21 April at 7pm, followed by a 19 May session at 7pm on building digital presentations.
Personal growth features a 6 May workshop at 7pm by coach Martí Sala, exploring the inner voice to improve self-awareness and emotional regulation.
The schedule concludes with outdoor wellness in June: yoga classes by Suray Fernandez on 6 and 27 June at 10am, and tai chi sessions by Manel Méndez of the Andorran Wu-shu and Kung-fu Federation on 13 and 20 June at 10am.
