L’Abarset opened its winter season over the Immaculate Conception long weekend, drawing more than 5,000 visitors and cementing its position as a leading après-ski destination in the Pyrenees. “The turnout in these first days demonstrates the consolidation of an attractive, steadily growing leisure model,” said project director Àlex Orúe.
The weekend kicked off with the season’s first Brunch Electronik and performances by DJs including Nina Kraviz, Quest, Patricia Mantovani, Syreeta and Calvin Clarke, which filled the venue. A new format called “L’After” debuted to strong reception, and the ongoing “Friends & Family” concept continues to make Sundays a prominent social gathering.
The restaurant’s new gastronomic offering was also well received, featuring a menu focused on high-quality ingredients, carefully prepared dishes and plates designed for sharing. “Guests are looking for experiences that connect with the mountain and with excellent produce, and the response has been outstanding,” said head of cuisine Xavi Solé.
The season launch coincided with the introduction of new noise-reduction measures, which organizers report have worked effectively. This weekend’s lineup includes Patricia Mantovani and Laeet on Friday; Héctor Couto, Edu_Art and Eric Vëlycë on Saturday; and a new Friends & Family event on Sunday. The season will continue with headline events such as Bresh and additional Brunch parties.
