Key Points

  • Motand 2025 in Andorra la Vella expects 1,500-2,000 visitors, up from 1,000 last year.
  • Features Hollywood stunt star Sarah Lezito and 31 businesses across five locations.
  • New Ruta Rider 468 targets high-spending French bikers to boost local sales.
  • Includes 20 activities like motorcycle fair, parade, and workshops.

The fourth edition of Motand, Andorra la Vella's flagship motorcycle event, will take place June 26-28, with organisers expecting 1,500-2,000 visitors—up from more than 1,000 last year. The event now features 31 participating businesses, a slight increase from 2023, and marquees returning to Avinguda Santa Coloma and Avinguda Enclar after traders reported sales gains there previously.

A key draw is French stunt rider and influencer Sarah Lezito, dubbed the "world queen of stunts" with over 10 million Instagram followers. She has served as a stunt double in Hollywood productions such as *Avengers: Age of Ultron*, *Black Widow* and *The Batman*. Her performance targets French bikers, who are noted for high spending on accessories. "We've spoken with traders, and the French motorbike tourist spends on accessories," Andorra la Vella mayor-consul Sergi González said at the launch press conference.

Some 20 activities will span five locations: Avinguda Santa Coloma, Parc Fluvial and its car parks, the Interesport car park, and Can Rodes. The lineup includes a motorcycle fair, professional simulator, classic bike exhibition, parade, workshops, aerography and tattoo demonstrations.

The Ruta Rider 468, organised by Penya Motorista l’Esquirol, will cover 80% French roads to draw weekend riders—often stopping at Pas de la Casa—deeper into the capital's shopping area, where most motorcycle stores are based. Can Rodes will serve as the launch point for this route and the Road Trip. "We see many French bikers at weekends who only reach the Pass. This route aims to introduce more roads and bring them to Andorra la Vella centre," club vice-president Toni Soler explained. Both routes are projected to exceed last year's 270 participants.

González highlighted the event's value to the parish's motorcycle business cluster, which bolsters the national economy. "The first three editions have shown that the formula works when you have engaged businesses, a goal, an administration that believes in it and helps promote it, and sponsors," he noted. Sector representative Carles Sansa described it as a growing success with family appeal, positioning it as a vital sales opportunity to cultivate long-term customers: "We're happy to sow today for tomorrow's harvest, as these visitors include our clients of the future."

Attendance will hinge on the weather, though González expressed confidence given the pre-school holiday timing.
