Ordino Opens New Leisure Facility for Youth in La Cortinada

The Ordino parish council has opened a new leisure facility for children and young people in La Cortinada, located on the ground floor of the Quart building. The space began operating on Saturday, January 24, providing a secure and family-friendly gathering spot.

It will run every Saturday from 3pm to 7pm throughout the school year, closing in July and August. A dedicated staff member will manage the site, ensuring smooth operations and user support. The multipurpose setup features a play area for younger children and their families, alongside a zone for teens to complete homework, collaborate on projects, or enjoy board games. Additional directed activities and shows will occur periodically.

The launch included the family animation performance *A tota màquina* at 5:15pm, drawing community members for the inaugural event.

The council equipped the area with custom furniture and resources to encourage interaction, shared activities, and assistance with learning and recreation. This project aligns with Ordino's priorities on community closeness, family assistance, and building social ties among the parish's youth.
