Sant Julià de Lòria opened its Spring Fair on Friday afternoon in Plaça de la Germandat, projecting around 4,500 visitors across the weekend. The second edition, run by Colla Laurediana with backing from the local council, returns to the square after last year's success.

Jordi Blanco, the group's secretary, said projections draw from previous attendance figures, even with cooler weather this year compared to last summer's intense heat. Organizers remain confident conditions will cooperate, noting the event's growing draw from the parish and beyond, which has secured its place in the square. Colla Laurediana handled the official launch, starting a lineup centered on music and dance.

Friday's schedule opened with Andorran group Rumband at 7pm, followed by dancers Aïnoa Acevedo and Zaira Martínez at 9pm. Barcelona's RumbaYSon de Gràcia took the stage from 10pm, extending the party until 1am.

Cònsol Menor Sofia Cortesao highlighted the council's doubled financial commitment of about €15,000 to cover the acts, alongside logistical help from municipal staff in organization, promotion, cleaning, and technical setup. She called this human contribution invaluable.

Cortesao described the fair as a lead-in to the parish's main festival and the start of warmer days, reflecting residents' appetite for outdoor gatherings. The council intends to sustain support for Colla Laurediana and youth-led efforts, stressing the need to encourage young involvement in local community life.

Attendees included Cònsol Major Cerni Cairat and General Councillor Maria Àngels Aché.
