The Ull Nu festival has opened an international call for audiovisual installations to be included in its 2026 exhibition circuit. The festival’s 12th edition will run in the capital from 20 to 24 May, with installations presented on the evenings of 22 and 23 May thanks to the sponsorship of Creand Crèdit Andorrà.

The installations call, aimed at visual artists, creative collectives and professionals working with light, sound, image and interaction, is open from 2 December 2025 until 1 March 2026. Proposals should be submitted by email to the festival; selected works will be announced on 15 March 2026. The call is international and imposes no origin requirement on applicants.

Ull Nu has expanded since 2019 from indoor screenings into an urban experience that brings audiovisual culture into public space. The festival has presented innovative, often country‑premiering projects by nationally and internationally minded artists and studios, and serves as a visibility platform for local creators, students and emerging talent.

The festival has also opened submissions for its competitive short‑film section, aimed at directors under 35 who were born in or reside in Andorra, Catalonia, Navarra, Aragon, the Basque Country, Occitanie or Nouvelle‑Aquitaine. The short‑film call accepts any genre — fiction, video art, documentary, animation or music video — and runs from 15 December 2025 to 22 March 2026. More than €7,000 in prizes will be awarded across categories including best short, best script, best editing, best direction and the audience award.

Ull Nu will again host Ull Nu LAB, a script laboratory that pairs selected projects with mentoring sessions led by established professionals. The LAB call is open from 12 January to 4 April 2026; eight projects will be chosen to develop during the festival and two will receive €500 each to support production.

In recent editions the festival has attracted strong interest—last year it received over 600 submissions for the competition, of which 24 advanced to the selection stage—underscoring its regional reach and role in promoting new audiovisual work.
