- La Comella Parc SA approved for €80,000 (50%) to extend Comella forest to Passeig del Torrent del Forn.

Andorra la Vella's Comú has approved the first sponsorship applications under the Programa d'Impuls Verd (PIV), launched in April, marking the start of public-private partnerships to enhance green spaces in the capital.
The initiative aims to engage local businesses in environmental improvements and the beautification of public areas, supporting a more sustainable urban model. The approved proposals will fund key greening and natural space recovery efforts at strategic parish locations.
Crèdit Andorrà will sponsor the vegetalisation of Plaça Bartumeu Rebès Duran with a contribution of €15,000, covering 15% of the project's €100,000 total budget. Separately, La Comella Parc SA secured approval for €80,000 in sponsorship toward extending the Comella forest to Passeig del Torrent del Forn, financing 50% of that planned work.
Both decisions comply with the Comú's sponsorship regulations, the specific terms of the Programa d'Impuls Verd 2026 call, and all legal and technical requirements.
Cònsol Major Sergi González noted that these partnerships confirm the programme's positive reception and show business commitment to the capital's future. He described public-private collaboration as essential to speed up the shift to a greener Andorra la Vella, turning private investment into direct benefits for residents.
Councillor for the Environment Jordi Cabanes emphasised that such projects—urban greening and forest expansion—represent solid steps toward sustainability goals. He added that the PIV enables effective private sector synergies with strict technical oversight, ensuring tangible gains in environmental quality.
