A delegation from Catalonia's public renewable energy company L'Energètica visited the central facilities of Andorra's state electricity provider FEDA on Tuesday to exchange strategic knowledge on public management of the electricity system.

The visit was part of a joint work plan between the governments of Andorra and Catalonia's Generalitat, coordinated by Andorra's Secretary of State for Energy Transition and the Catalan delegation in the Principat. It sought to reinforce collaboration between the two organizations, both committed to driving the energy transition through public initiatives.

FEDA's general director, Albert Moles, headed the hosting team, joined by several division heads who outlined the company's operations for the Catalan visitors. L'Energètica is chaired by Santi Martínez and led by general director Daniel Pérez.

The group, which included Anna Vives, the Generalitat's delegate in Andorra, later moved to the Prat del Rull building in Andorra la Vella. There, L'Energètica representatives met with Secretary of State for Energy Transition, Transport and Mobility David Forné, and Carles Miquel, director of the Energy and Climate Change Office.

FEDA expressed gratitude for the visit and urged L'Energètica to continue joint efforts to advance the energy transition and combat climate change.
